Lunar Lecture: Chemicals on the Moon–Potential Resources for Space Travel!

November 13 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

FREE

The availability of volatile chemical species such as hydrogen, oxygen and water on the Moon has the potential to serve as a valuable resource for future manned missions throughout our solar system. But how much water is actually on the moon? As part of the Lunar Legacy Lecture Series, Christopher Edwards, Ph.D. will be giving a lecture on potential resources for space travel on Wednesday, November 13 at Coconino Community College Lone Tree Campus. Come join us and learn about chemicals on the moon!

This FREE 18-month speaker series celebrates the Apollo Moon Missions and Flagstaff’s Critical role in these historic lunar landings. Join us at 6 p.m., the second Wednesday of every month at the Coconino Community College Lone Tree Campus. Parking is FREE for this series.
