Lunar Lecture: From the Mountain to the Moon

Scientist with the US Geological Survey throughout the Apollo missions, Ivo Lucchitta, offers a personal account of the historical role of Flagstaff’s Astrogeology Center (USGS) in the exploration of the moon.

This FREE 18-month speaker series celebrates the Apollo Moon Missions and Flagstaff’s Critical role in these historic lunar landings. Join us at 6 p.m., the second Wednesday of every month at the Coconino Community College Lone Tree Campus. Parking is FREE for this series.
